Presentation
The French education system is changing due to technological and societal developments due to the internet age. The DUNE EOLE project aims to develop monofunctional physical spaces, in order to make them more modular and flexible. As an extension of the research carried out within the framework of the Mut @ camp project and the Design Thinking approach carried out at the University of Lorraine, the project began around two guiding ideas: the evolution of teaching practices and the need to adapt places to learn about these new teaching methods. To develop these two reflections, four spaces are being studied: the amphitheater of the Faculty of Sciences of Nancy, a multipurpose room of the IUT of Colmar and two outdoor patios of the School of Architecture of Nancy.
With the participation of the Strasbourg and Nancy schools of architecture, the design of these spaces will be developed using innovative tools such as 3D modeling and virtual reality. These tools aim to integrate the student into the project, to set up a design mode that is both immersive and interactive.
